A total of 700 students and chaperones from MI Mummtaz South Tangerang visited the Geopark Information Center Culture & Tourism on Wednesday, May 17, 2025. This activity provided an outdoor learning experience that combined geological education and Sundanese culture in a fun and interactive atmosphere. As part of its commitment to introducing natural and cultural wealth from an early age, the Geopark Information Center Culture & Tourism welcomed an educational visit from MI Mummtaz Tangerang Selatan. Participants received education on geology, the environment, and the importance of nature conservation, presented in an engaging manner by the Geopark Bogor Halimun Salak team. Not only that, participants were also invited to watch a traditional Sundanese Celempungan art performance, which became a valuable moment to get to know the unique local culture of Tatar Sunda more closely. This activity serves as an example of collaboration between education and cultural preservation, as well as providing an unforgettable learning experience for the students. It is hoped that similar activities can continue to be promoted as part of efforts to shape a young generation that loves nature and is proud of its culture.
